Bidets
Bidet is actually a French word, which means a “trot”, a low mounted plumbing fixture or we can say that bidet is a type of sink intended for washing the genitalia and the anus. Bidets had been invented in the late 17th Century. Although, no exact date or inventor is known but theories tell that the inventor of bidets is a French citizen Christopher Des Rosiers who was a furniture maker of the French royal family. At first, bidets were designed for only bedrooms, but later on bidet moved from the bedroom to the bathroom.

Most of the women use bidets to wash and clean the external vulva and the anus. Women also use bidets to clean any other part of their body. In European countries, almost all homeowners install bidets in their bathrooms because women feel very convenient for cleaning any part of their body especially feet. Not only women use bidets, but it is also used by some for a baby bath. There are many more advantages of using bidets like anyone who has mobility problems and finds it difficult to get into a bathtub, or is afraid of slipping in the shower or in the bathroom, then using bidets is an excellent and perfect solution for maintaining personal hygiene.

Most of the customers are unaware and unfamiliar with bidets often confuse a bidet with a urinal, toilet, or even a drinking fountain. Most of the customers install bidets in their bathrooms but they don’t know the proper method of using bidets. Keep in mind one thing that if you have installed a bidet in your bathroom, then you should use the toilet before using the bidet; its purpose is to wash afterwards. If you install bidet in your bathroom, then it is generally understood that the customer should sit on a bidet facing the tap and nozzle to clean and wash the genitalia, or with their back to the tap and wall to clean and wash the anus.
